Jim Courtney, our Founder, has worked in the construction industry for over 50 years. He has been a licensed General Contractor in the State of Florida since 1985. Jim’s collaboration with our clients has provided them with an unparalleled finished product, creating solid relationships and an exceptional reputation in the industry. He has shaped the direction of our company with dedication, foresight and a standard of excellence, which has grown Structural Construction of Orlando, Inc. to be an industry leader.
Jim’s eldest son (Jim Courtney Jr.) has been involved in the concrete industry for the last 30 years. He has overseen and executed numerous projects throughout his career, working his way up from a carpenter to our Vice President and Operations Manager.
Our SCO family includes all three of Jim’s sons, as well as several highly devoted, experienced, skilled and knowledgeable employees, who go above and beyond on every project, to produce a superior product.
We have completed many commercial structures throughout Florida and have been providing premium concrete services since our inception. To our credit, we have built numerous public schools, universities, wastewater treatment plants, churches, hotels, storage facilities and military barracks, just to name a few. We also pride ourselves on being a drug free workplace.
